HIGH PRECISION PICOLITER DISPENSING

The sciDROP PICO is SCIENION’s proprietary ultra low-volume drop-on-demand dispensing technology. It uses non-contact acoustic wave, generated by a piezoelectric element, to generate droplets of controlled and highly reproducible volume, from 250 to 600 pL per drop.

A PERFORMANT OPTICAL SYSTEM​

A high-resolution optical system, allows microscopic observations of single cells and monitoring of their size, elongation and fluorescence pattern: DAPI (ex. 375 nm; em. 432 nm), FITC (ex. 470 nm; em. 515 nm), Cy3 (ex. 565 nm; em. 580 nm), Cy5 (ex. 625 nm; em. 670 nm).

ISBCI™ – IMAGE-BASED SINGLE CELL ISOLATION

Isolation decision is automated by cellenONE software based on image analysis. When multiple cells (1) or no cells (2) are found in the volume of liquid that will be ejected next, drops are dispensed in a recovery vial. When one, and just one, cell corresponding to user-defined criteria, is detected (3), the capillary is moved to the target position and the drop containing the cell is ejected onto it (4).
